Get ready for the first annual Great Gingerbread Throwdown at the Kitchener Market!

 

Bakers of all ages and skill levels are invited to put their best gumdrop forward and showcase their most creative, expressive, and structurally-sound gingerbread house creation during the final week of the Winter Artisan Market.

 

Voting will take place during the final Night Market and Saturday Market of WAM. Local celebrity bakers will select the top three houses, as well as announce the people's choice winner! The winners will receive a gift basket filled with goodies from your favourite market vendors!

 

 

Important Dates:

- Registration deadline: Tuesday December 16th @ 8am

- House Drop-off: Thursday Dec 18th @3pm - Friday Dec 18th @3pm

- Exhibition & Voting: Friday Dec 19th @4pm - Sat Dec 20th @1pm

- House Pick-up (optional): Saturday Dec 20th from 1-2pm or Tues Dec 23rd from 8am - 3pm

 

 

*A $10.00 registration fee is required to enter a gingerbread house. Voting on December 20th is free and open to the public
