Bits & Bytes Club of Kitchener: Zoom for Beginners Part 1 - This event has already occurred
Wednesday, July 15, 2020 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Are you feeling cut off from family and friends due to the Pandemic isolation that we all are experiencing? Are you able to talk to friends and family but wish you could see them, especially the grandchildren and some of the family events?
If you have access to a PC or Mac Computer, a SmartPhone, an iPad or Android Tablet you may be able to join with friends and family in video meetings. In addition to the equipment, it is recommended that you are able to do basic email and down load apps or have someone who is able to assist you.
Members of the Bits & Bytes Club of Kitchener are developing free online training meetings where you can learn the basic skills needed to participate in online Zoom video meetings which are becoming very popular in the social as well as the business community. The free Zoom app that needs to be down loaded, provides an amazing service that can operate in a very basic and simple manner for the social community or become very elaborate as it serves the business community. This training program is intended to help you get started and become comfortable chatting with and seeing the smiles of the family and friends that you miss.
The first meeting is Zoom Training Part 1. To register, please email your request to Sandy.Hrubik@Kitchener.ca. Include your name and indicate the device you will be using during the meeting. We will provide you with step by step instructions through the registration and the training. Space is limited.
