Monday - Food, glorious Food!: Yes, food is a muse in Contemporary Art! Join us in this class where students will make vibrant coloured prints of their favourite food in the style of Andy Warhol and build food ‘stuffies” inspired by the work of Claes Oldenburg.

Tuesday - Tackling Typography: Before emojis, there was font! Build your own zine or dadaist poem out of different words and letters from a wide range of source material. Design your own colourful and geometric typography poster inspired by Charles Demuth.

Wednesday- Imaginary Lands: Create worlds where no one has gone before! Upcycle old landscapes by adding monsters or cartoon characters in a style inspired by David Irvine! Build your own imaginary landscapes that "pop" using colourful plasticine ridges instead of paint!

Thursday- Kaleidoscopes and Skulls: Inspired by the work of Damien Hirst, this class takes students on a path to creating colourful paintings using angles and symmetry inspired by kaleidoscopes. Students will also be building their own 3D skulls using layers of paper and joints and adorning their creations with sparkles, beads, paper flowers and more.

Friday- The Modern Animal: Reimagine animals! In this class, students will build geometric origami animal sculptures creating animals with a whole new angle. Students will bring animals to the world upcycling, painting bookpage animals, using old books as their canvas.
